What we don't sell.
Most firewood you'll find online is padded with whatever fell over last weekend. Ours isn't. Here's what never makes it into your truck.
Pine
Too much sap and resin. Coats your chimney with creosote and burns dirty. We don't cut it, and we don't sell it.
Poplar
Soft, low-BTU, and burns fast and ashy. You'll be back for more in an hour. Not what you paid for.
Locust & junk hardwood scraps
We don't pad our totes with low-grade wood to make volume. What you order is what you'd want on your own porch.

About the Firewood
Two grades of firewood, both premium.
Every order leaves our facility fully cured and ready to burn. The grade you pick depends on what you're burning it in.
The Standard
Crossroads Premium Mix
White Oak, Red Oak, and Hickory
No junk wood
A cured blend of red oak, white oak, and chestnut. Burns hot, burns clean, and stacks beautifully. Our default for fireplaces, fire pits, and wood-burning stoves.
White Oak Only
Premium Cooking Wood
White Oak Only
100% cured white oak. The cleanest-burning hardwood we cut, with the consistent heat and minimal smoke that pizzaiolos and pitmasters demand. Priced at a 25% premium.

Every piece of wood is hand-selected. Every tote is hand-stacked. And nothing leaves our lot until it's ready to burn.
