Crossroads Firewood Co.
FOR AIRBNB HOSTS

Firewood that's ready before your guests arrive.

Cured hardwood for vacation rental fire pits and fireplaces. Recurring delivery, clean splits, premium quality.

Your guests aren't going to leave a five-star review because your firewood was good. They'll leave a three-star one when it wasn't. Airbnb hosts across central Virginia use Crossroads because the wood is reliably presentation-ready: cured, clean splits that light easily, burn well, and stack beautifully on the porch.

Why Crossroads

What airbnb hosts tell us matters most.

  • Cured hardwood mix — burns easily even for guests who've never lit a fire before.
  • Uniform splits that stack cleanly for porch and patio displays.
  • Recurring delivery scheduled around your booking calendar — never run out between guests.
  • Available in bundles or totes depending on your typical guest stay length.
  • No pine, no poplar, no surprise creosote complaints from guests with allergies or asthma.

What you'll typically order.

Bundles

A typical Airbnb with one fire pit goes through 3–4 bundles per weekend booking. Properties with both a fireplace and a fire pit can burn 6–8 bundles.

Premium Mix bundles for weekly turnover. Or upgrade to a tote (⅓ cord) for longer-term rentals and properties with multiple fire features.

How Airbnb Hosts Work With Us

What ordering looks like.

Most Airbnb host accounts settle into a recurring monthly bundle delivery, scaled to their booking volume. We can adjust the cadence based on your seasonal occupancy. For properties with multiple fire pits or hosts running multiple rental units, totes or full cords often work better than counting bundles.

The Crossroads Difference

Why we don't compete on price.

Cheap Facebook Marketplace firewood is the kind of detail that ends up in guest reviews — wood that wouldn't light, smoke that drove people inside, bark and chips left in the fire pit area. Crossroads sells premium firewood for hosts whose reviews matter to their bottom line.

Common Questions

Frequently asked.

How much firewood do I need per Airbnb booking?

For a fire pit used a few times over a weekend stay, plan on 3–4 bundles. For a fireplace running multiple evenings, plan on 4–6 bundles. Properties with both a fireplace and a fire pit can burn 6–10 bundles per weekend.

Can you deliver to a vacation rental I don't live near?

Yes — we deliver to vacation rentals throughout central Virginia. We can coordinate with your cleaning crew or property manager for restocking, or drop wood between guest stays on a schedule.

Do you stack the wood for me?

Delivery includes a clean drop on a tarp or in your designated storage area — we don't stack as a standard service, but ask and we can quote it for higher-end properties where presentation matters.

How do I keep firewood looking presentable for guests?

Store covered (under an overhang or on a covered rack) and stack with the bark side up. Our cured wood is already clean and uniform — minimal effort beyond that. If you're going for a "premium cabin" aesthetic, ask us about presentation-grade splits at no upcharge.
